Hard to Believe?

If someone were to suggest to you that you could hatch puppies from chicken eggs you would know that such just couldn’t be done. All evidence demonstrates that species produce ONLY after their kind. This law of nature was first stated in the word of God (Genesis 1:12, 21, and 25) and has never been violated.

Yet, the evolutionist and atheist would have you believe that throughout all of time, species continually gave rise to some species not “after their kind.” That some animal in the long ago gave birth not to another of its kind, but that its offspring was homo-sapiens. Be not deceived, my friend, such foolishness is exactly their contention.

God said this about such mindless ramblings, “For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse: because that, knowing God, they glorified him not as God, neither gave thanks; but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. PROFESSING THEMSELVES TO BE WISE, THEY BECAME FOOLS, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed beasts; and creeping things” (Romans 1:20-23). The Lord also said, “The fool hath said in his heart there is no God” (Psalms 14:1).

Every fact of science, and all the statements of God in His word, point to the fact that God made man in his own image; that man is not a product of any accident of nature known as evolution.

God’s power and divinity are easily demonstrable (Psalms 19: 1). Intelligent men and women will accept this fact and do great things because of it. They, like the astronauts and those brilliant scientists who put them into space, will acknowledge God. For instance, Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, said, “I find it difficult to believe how anyone could see the sights I was privileged to see and the views I was shown on my travel and not be most aware of the power of the Supreme Being and His art work.”

The question is: “When dealing with an evolutionist what answer can be given when confronted with the theory of prehistoric times, and that dinosaurs ruled before man and man came from apes, is there a biblical answer or do we ignore it?” An excellent treatment of this topic was written by Bert Thompson, Ph.D., entitled The Dinosaur Controversy. In that article, Mr. Thompson says, “Today, the controversy between evolutionists and creationists centers around the matter of when the dinosaurs existed. A chasm exists between these two groups that never will be bridged so long as each side maintains its present view. Evolutionists advocate that dinosaurs evolved from some ancient reptile 200 million years ago, and that they became extinct roughly 65-70 million years ago. Man (in one form or another) allegedly evolved only 2-3 million years ago, and thus was separated from the dinosaurs by approximately 65 million years of geologic time. Creationists who accept Genesis 1-11 as an accurate, historical record of God’s creative activity oppose such claims, and instead maintain that the dinosaurs were created by God within the six literal days described in the biblical record. Thus, man and the dinosaurs would have been created at essentially the same time, and would have lived together as contemporaries on the Earth.”

He goes on to discuss dinosaurs in the Bible and “where did they go?” Bible believers do not have to ignore the subject of dinosaurs.
